Completion of Wiston Estate Winery

ECE are celebrating the completion of the Wiston Estate Winery expansion and the opening of their new Chalk Restaurant.

The Winery at North Farm has opened the doors to Chalk Restaurant, occupying the renovated 18th Century threshing barn. The historic building has been expertly restored and transformed to create a warm and welcoming space. There is room to host up to 60 guests, including a private dining room for 10. Outside a landscaped, sun-trap courtyard has been created, a nod to the site’s historic farmstead arrangement, housing a beautiful alfresco dining space.

Richard Goring, CEO of Wiston Estate said:

“We are incredibly excited about this development at North Farm. We hope Chalk will be a major step in our mission to open up the estate and welcome people here, as well as showing off the wonderful produce which this land gives us.”

Early Concept Sketch

Alongside the restaurant, a variety of additional visitor attractions are now available, including a tasting room, wine shop and wine tour, offering visitors the opportunity to taste a selection of Wiston Estate wines, and learn more about the wine making process and vineyards. Tours will take guests through the new production areas and finish with a tasting experience in a carefully restored, historic flint walled tasting room in the heart of the winery.
