ECE London raises money for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of a colleague
ECE London hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support last week. After losing a colleague to cancer earlier this year, it was decided to host a Coffee Morning in memory of him.
Each member of staff took the opportunity to get creative with their baking skills. Cakes, cupcakes, brownies, apple crumble, tiramisu, cinnamon rolls and biscuits were all on the menu, together with offerings from Union Street Café, a restaurant owned by Gordon Ramsey, and Coffee@Work, who donated a coffee machine for the day. We are extremely grateful for everyone’s generosity.
Customers consisting of passers-by, local business-people and even police on patrol, all came in to buy cake and coffee, and make donations to Macmillan Cancer Support. ECE London managed to raise a total of over £200 for such a worthwhile cause.
