ECE set to relocate to Bayside, Worthing
ECE are delighted to announce our move to Bayside, one of West Sussex’s most highly anticipated developments.
As part of our ongoing expansion plans and commitment to staff and growing client-base, our Sussex studio will move from Goring-by-Sea to a new, state-of-the-art 6,500 sq/ft studio space in the centre of Worthing, cementing our reputation as the largest practice in the county.
The mixed-use development consists of two elements – the 15 storey Bayside Vista, with stunning views across the English Channel and the Sussex Downs, and Bayside Horizon which helps create two new public spaces, one on the seafront and the other outside Splashpoint Leisure Centre. ECE will occupy the ground floor commercial space on the north side of Bayside Horizon.
ECE Managing Director, Stuart Eatock, said:
“This move is big for us but it’s also big for Worthing,
“Worthing is a vibrant, opportunistic and forward-thinking town and is fast becoming one of the stand-out locations to do business in Sussex, which is why we are here. The relocation reinforces our reputation as the go-to practice in the south east.”
Developer and ECE client Roffey Homes secured planning with the support of ECE Planning. It was demonstrated that the scheme would provide an outstanding development that will act as the eastern gateway to Worthing and as a visual catalyst for change, demonstrating the progressive spirit of the town.
Stuart concludes:
“Bayside is a landmark development – we knew that it would be popular. It’s a gamechanger for the surrounding areas. We are privileged and excited to have played a significant part in its inception and to make Bayside our new home. This is the perfect time for ECE to make the move as we look to attract the very best talent from within the industry and enhance the service offering to our growing client-base.”
Roffey Homes Managing Director, Ben Cheal, always wanted the commercial space to be occupied by a creative, forward looking business at this important entry point into the town and believes that the decision by ECE to move into the gateway development will reap benefits for ECE and the town.
Work started on Bayside Apartments in November 2018 and will complete in the spring of 2021. ECE’s move will be completed in the autumn of 2021 and will see its complete workforce of over 70 people make the move.
