ECE Westworks  were appointed to explore a 300 bed, purpose built, student accommodation new-build project in the centre of Portsmouth. Split across two sites, with an existing building separating the two, the scheme proposes a mixture of studios and cluster living arrangements suitable for the demand in the local market.

The proposal seeks to develop an extensive urban realm that joins together other city centre areas in line with Portsmouth’s City Centre aspirations, providing both social and commercial opportunities in a cohesive city centre environment.

As with all of ECE Westworks’ early feasibility and capacity studies, our proactive approach enabled the client to generate a robust commercial plan very early on as part of the project inception. This scheme includes for 580m2 of commercial space for two national bar/restaurants brands.
