ECE Architecture have secured planning consent for our client on a mixed-use scheme in Kent.
The development comprises 41 new homes and 2 commercial spaces with associated access, car parking and landscaping.
Southern Way is located to the north-east of Folkestone town centre, near the M20 and Euro Tunnel Crossing. This development will make a positive contribution to the area, which already benefits from a wide mix of independent shops and amenities with excellent transport links.
Folkestone’s architectural identity has developed over time, containing a wide variety of styles across industrial and residential scales. Materials are varied, with a mixture of render and various brickwork combined with pitched and gabled roofs.
ECE’s vision for the site enhances the surrounding architecture. Proposed materials for the development include a mixture of local facing brick and render to walls, dark slate and metal roofs and timber detailing.Share this
