Welcome to our Graduate Architects

This year ECE has employed 4 graduate architectural assistants at our Worthing and London studio’s. Lisa, Elena and Laura have been appointed in Worthing and Jakub in London.

Both Elena and Lisa attended Brighton University and applied for Part 1 positions at ECE following their attendance at a mock interview preparation course delivered by ECE Director Paul Fender. Paul provides several sessions at Brighton University as part of the ECE commitment to the RIBA Mentoring Scheme. Laura and Jakub come to us from Portsmouth University, where we also offer mentoring.

Previous Part 1 graduates have the following to say about ECE:

“The last 11 months has been a great learning experience for me, and I am grateful to have been allowed the privilege to grow and develop myself under the ECE umbrella. I can say with certainty that I have gained a lot more than just a piECE of your minds and I can only hope have you have learnt something from me as well. THANK YOU ALL very much.”

“Working at ECE has been extremely beneficial to my progress into the profession.
I have encountered a wide range of projects and developed many skills along the way. Whilst here I have had the support of my experienced colleagues and have enjoyed the office culture that they have created. I would highly recommend working here to anyone.”
