ECE secures planning permission for residential development in Liss
ECE and Cala Homes have recently secured planning permission for a bespoke residential development within the South Downs National Park.
The proposed development will provide 77 sustainable bespoke designed homes, offering a range of accommodation from one bedroom apartments to four bedroom houses.
The design of this development includes a range of sustainable principles to minimise environmental impact, in terms of layout and natural resources.
The proposed development will provide 40% affordable housing, reflecting the current local need within the Liss village.
ECE worked closely with the landscape consultants to create a landscape led approach for this scheme, attending a series of design workshops with a variety of stakeholders. The existing vernacular informed the contemporary approach to the architecture that was unanimously supported by the South Downs National Park Planning Committee.
