Planning Approval for Angell Sandpit, Storrington

ECE Planning and ECE Architecture have achieved unanimous approval after a long planning process for the Angell Sandpit residential development in Storrington.

Six contemporary homes are to be built with stunning views of the South Downs National Park. The one and two storey dwellings will be incorporated into the steep topography of the site, which sits on a former sandpit covered by shrub and grassland.

Site Plan

The design includes a holistic approach to sustainability including solar panels, building orientation for solar gain, locally sourced materials and enhanced building fabric first approach.

Chosen materials such as clay tiles, timber cladding and grey and red brick blends respect the site’s neighbouring buildings as well as the beautiful natural surroundings and retained trees.

Our client has said:

“We are so pleased – indeed delighted – to get planning permission after such a long journey (I think we initiated this process back in 2015!). Thank you to all involved at ECE for your efforts. A great result.”
