Women in Construction Sussex October 2022
Last week ECE Group and Hawes Construction Group hosted our inaugural Women in Construction Sussex event.
Our guest speaker, Sally Gunnell OBE, gave an inspiring and motivational talk about managing expectations, self-motivation and achieving your goals.
The second part of the evening involved some fun and interactive wine & cheese tasting activities, hosted by Plumpton College. All attendees were spilt into three groups, moving around each activity in a friendly atmosphere which gave the opportunity to mix and connect with fellow attendees.
Everyone had the opportunity to learn about English wines, pairing cheese with different types of wine, and how sugar dosages affect the taste of wines, followed by a surprise prize draw to conclude the evening.

The team at ECE are thrilled to have hosted such a successful first Women in Construction Sussex evening and look forward to organising more in 2023.
