This interesting project for the University of London generated a usable new public open space at the centre of their Bloomsbury campus, which now forms a calm green court to the benefit of the surrounding faculty buildings.
Our architectural service was provided in close association with landscape architect Robert Myers with the completed space being much used by students and visitors alike.
Torrington Square was opened to the public by The Princess Royal and has formed a successful ‘green lung’ for the University of London’s Bloomsbury campus as the landscaping has matured.
